Gonai's Appeal To Satyabhama And Kalindi

In the previously narrated story, it was mentioned that the Lord of the world remained silent. So Gonai called Rukmini and shared her story with them. Affectionately, she called Satyabhama and Kalindi as well.

Gonai spoke to them, saying, "Listen to what I have to say. Your Husband is known for His mercy towards the humble, as praised in the Vedas and Shastras. But why has He chosen to make my child unaware of his own body? My child is my only son, yet God has turned him into a constant worshipper of Himself. You all know what a deceptive actor He is. Great sages like Shuka, Sanaka, and other esteemed sadhus and yogis are aware that He has disrupted my household. We are weak, helpless, and lowly. We have no clothes or food at home. He has directed Nama to contemplate only Himself. Please understand this.

I have seen and heard of many gods, but I have never seen anyone as reserved as this man. He calls Himself the family deity whom I should always worship, yet He needlessly deceives and troubles us. Until now, I have revered Him, and His reputation remains high. But if He takes matters to the extreme, I will lose respect for Him in the eyes of the public. His presence destroys one's own life. He has turned my beloved son into His contemplation. What am I supposed to do? You have all heard my story. Gather together, wives, and bring Krishna to my house. Ask Him what His intentions are.

Nama, why are you sitting here? I will forcefully take you away in front of this god. Nama, you are a thief in our domestic life. This Enchanter of the world is our enemy. He stands on a brick and destroys the domestic lives of others. O false Savior of the world, Pundlik provided Him a place to stay, and that's why you don't come home and have ruined our domestic affairs. So I will not leave this place without taking you with me. I am determined to consume the whole of Pandhari. O beautiful and wise one, answer me. O Lord of the Yadavas, you sit in silence, O Vitthal, Destroyer of households."

Gonai said to him, "O Life of the world, Pervader of the universe, Ornament of devotees, why do you not consider my plea? O Cloud of mercy, give Nama back to me, and let your fame increase in the world."

Hearing her words, the Husband of Lakshmi spoke as follows: "Listen to me, Gonai, take your son and leave. You are futilely attempting to accuse me."

Vitthal said to Gonai, "Take your son Nama by the hand and lead him away. Take your son back to your home right now. He has abandoned all emotional ties, but you have needlessly accused me of wrongdoing. Take your son and return home. Why do you persist with these useless accusations?"

Thus speaking, the Husband of Lakshmi brought Nama and placed him in Gonai's hand, and she immediately began her journey back home. As they walked along the road, his mother said to Nama, "You have abandoned your responsibilities and gone to the Lord of Pandhari as a petitioner."

Hearing Gonai's accusation, Nama hung his head, and tears of love streamed from his eyes. So his mother, holding Nama's hand, returned to their home.
